Planet Express X-Mas Battle by gottabecarl Planet Express X-Mas Battle by gottabecarl
X-Mas sure is a lot less peaceful in the future. Until then, enjoy it, everyone! Good will all around and whatnot. ;)

All drawn in Adobe Illustrator.

This is too awesome for words... all the characters look impressive and full of action, and the coloring is pretty neat!

How would you compare Ad. Illustrator to Photoshop? I was wondering about it. Good pic by the way!

Hey! Thanks for the compliment. I love Illustrator because it grants me complete control whereas Photoshop can be a little more unforgiving. If I have a complete plan as to what I'm going to draw, like with the monster drawings I did, I will work in Photoshop because I have a full range of coloring/shading options and can just build the image overtop of my sketch. But with something like this image, where the idea was there but the final look was a bit up in the air, I worked in Illustrator because I knew I would want to move things around and resize. Plus I wanted things to look crisp and brightly colored with fun highlights, which I'm much better at in Illustrator. Hope that helps!
